Before I had my children, I worked in nursing. Later, I joined the military. Having been a bodybuilder, mechanic, and worked in nursing; as I had my children, it became apparent that my areas of interest, though they seemed to be very different, all rapped together in my understanding of the human body. They are quite interrelated to one another.
The combustion engine is largely designed to mimic or mock the functionality of the human body. When a 'system' goes down and a symptom presents itself it is an indication that there is a cause. I love the challenge of chasing the problem and discovering the cause so I can fix it. I am wired that way. As I raised my children, I continued to read medical journals and studies to insure that my children had the best possible care I could give them. Little did I know that God would give me ten human beings to shepherd through this life and it would become my full time occupation.
If a child became sick and I took them to a doctor, too often the doctor prescribed a drug for the symptom. I had studied enough about children and how our bodies work to understand that most problems could be resolved with dietary changes, or supplying the body what it lacked through vitamins, minerals or supplements. Not all doctors turned to drugs, but a good majority of them did.
Over the years, I weeded out the hyper-drug doctors and found some excellent doctors who understood the balance between nutritional, medical, drugs and supplementation. Only in rare cases did we actually need a drug to help with a health issue. For the most part, our bodies are not lacking ibuprofen for instance, but it can be helpful to reduce inflammation due to a sudden injury. However, if the pain continued, of course we would check all of the internal possibilities with xray or whatever appropriate medical discovery method was necessary; but I would add magnesium to the child's diet which serves to help quiet the neuron-censors in the body and reduces pain.
Nonetheless, not all supplements are created equal. Some are full of fillers with only, if any, a trace of the desired product. Not cool! How do we know which ones we can trust? For me, as different doctors demonstrated a sincere interest in the health of my children, I gained a trust in their recommendations. One such doctor used to research products with me and together we would sort through them.
For my family, the NOW brand has given us noticeable, consistent results. I am not assuming to diagnose or to tell you how to treat your children, nor would I seek to do so. I can only share from my own personal experience what has worked for our family. One MUST HAVE for our family were the Probiotics. They have earned a permanent place in my cupboard!
Having so many children come into my life so quickly, naturally, my budget was tight so anything I bought had to be affordable and last. ENTER HERE TO FIND GREAT PRODUCTS AT AFFORDABLE PRICES.
I hope you will love them as much as I do. We live ONCE and good health is essential!
